Meet some of our key team members!
Benjy Grzych, H.F.A.
Administrator, Hamilton Trace
While thinking about his future as a young man, Benjy Grzych’s grandmother was placed into hospice care. They were very close, and seeing what she went through inspired him to find his calling in making sure every senior receives the best care they can possibly receive. Working his way through college, he got his start at CarDon as a dishwasher and later an unpaid intern. He knew he’d found the company that matched his philosophy of caring. After earning a degree in health administration from Indiana University Bloomington, he now serves as Administrator at Hamilton Trace. He goes to work every day with the goal of being the leading provider of inspired living and compassionate care to those he serves. Each new day is a gift – an opportunity to make life healthier and happier for residents. In his spare time Benjy enjoys playing soccer, basketball and football.
Executive Director, The Reserve at Hamilton Trace
Kaitlin began her career as a dietician, overseeing nutritional needs at a long-term care facility for three years after graduating from Purdue University, and fell in love with geriatric care. Later she was promoted to a regional role overseeing multiple facilities, and that’s where the seed was planted to go into administration – a role in which she had never really envisioned herself. “I love nutrition and food service, but I realized it was just a small piece to the overall picture.” She pursued and earned her administrators’ license two years ago and became executive director at a skilled nursing facility. She joined CarDon and now oversees all operations for independent living at The Reserve, from food service to sales. Kaitlin enjoys building a team and having them all strive toward the common goal of serving residents. She and her husband are rabid sports fans, especially Purdue basketball and football, and welcomed a baby girl last spring.
Independent Living Sales Consultant
Kerri Bryant has had two loves in her professional career: technology and senior living. She spent 20+ years in sales/management in progressive industry roles that started with selling a simple personal computer and evolved into the integrated technology that formed the internet infrastructure of today. When her mother moved into The Reserve at Hamilton Trace, Kerri swooned a second time, and signed on as the Independent Living Sales Specialist. As she busily shows people the gorgeous apartments and standalone cottages with amenities galore, her mom jokes about not seeing as much of her now that she works there! Kerri has lived in Fishers for 25 years and is blessed with a beautiful family including three wonderful teenage children and their dog, Oreo.
Amanda McBride-Rapp, M.A.
Director of Marketing and Admissions
Amanda McBride-Rapp spent much of her early life “skating by” … literally! She was a competitive freestyle figure skater representing her home state of North Carolina before giving up the sport to pursue her college education, including a master’s degree in applied gerontology from Ball State University. While volunteering in an elder home she discovered her second great passion: helping seniors. As Director of Marketing and Admissions at Hamilton Trace, Amanda oversees the outreach to potential residents and their families. The daughter of an Army mom and Air Force dad, Amanda loves to try new things, like cooking Mexican food and taking old furniture and turning it into something completely different. Her next great adventure is traveling to Ireland to visit the woman who helped raise her.
Director of Nursing
A self-described hopeless romantic in both her vocation and personal life, LaTeasa Relford shows off her passion as Director of Nursing every day in her approach to caring for residents at Hamilton Trace, which she had the pleasure of help opening at its inception. Her family motto is “Good, Better, Best. Never let it rest until our good is better and our better is best.” She and her team of nurses strive each and every day to make Hamilton Trace the best place to rehabilitate, live and work. LaTeasa enjoys reading romance novels in her free hours, is a mother three times over and has one beautiful granddaughter.
